The Hydrological Cycle: Nature's Purification System
When water evaporates from the surface of the earth, it is naturally purified into soft clean water. Unfortunately, as it falls back through the atmosphere and soaks into the ground, it dissolves and attracts many undesirable and potentially harmful contaminates. Recent studies have determined that more than 700 new organic chemicals and over 4000 new strains of bacteria have been introduced into our environment since the turn of the century.

Municipally Treated Water Supplies
The final stage of the cycle is the municipal water treatment plant. There, it is typically filtered through sand to trap solid matter, then chlorinated in an attempt to make the water microbiologically safe. In many cases, research has shown that water supplied to homes by chlorinated municipal systems often contains chlorine-resistant Cyst and Bacteria, Chlorine-related Carcinogens, High Lead Concentrations, and Nitrates well in excess of EPA maximum contanimate levels.
